I’ve come to accept I may be depressed. Nothing major, just some light seasonal depression, God’s hand gently tamping down on my will to live. I can sense a basic interest in being alive— it’s distant but there. There are even brief flashes of joy every handful of weeks. But otherwise, my own mind hasn’t given me much to “write home about,” as it were.
